AREAS OF STUDY

The Italian School provides Italian Languages Courses to all non-National Students in order to give them  the possibility of participating to the Internship's Programs, where is mandatory to have a knowledge of the language equivalent to the Intermediate level.

Moreover the Italian School offers two specific courses  : an intensive program in order to prepare the students to pass the Italian Language Test, that is a prerequisite to obtain the Permit of Stay and two intensive programs, designed to improve the knowledge of the language for people who are already working in the Restaurant and in Boutiques as Sales Clerk.

ADMISSION REQUIREMENTS

The Inyternational Accademy of Florence reviews applications from all over the world. We believe that the blending of cultures creates a more diverse and rich student body that adds to each student's educational experience. Each application we receive is individually reviewed before a decision is made. 

For all the Courses:

  • Application Form and Fee: students must submit a completed and signed application form along with the Application Fee.
  • Language Requirements: Applicants for any of the Italian courses must pass a placement test.

ITALIAN FOR THE OFFICIAL ITALIAN TEST

The Courses are three: Basic, Intermediate and Intermediate I. In order to be fully prepared for the Test, you have to successfully have attended the Intermediate I.

Italian Language Bacisc (45 hours for 3 credits)

Italian Language Intermediate (45 hours for 3 credits)

Italian Language Intermediate (45 hours for 3 credits)

The courses will have class 3 times a week, see Academic Schedule, each class have a duration of 3 hours

ITALIAN FOR  WAITERS & SALES CLERK 

The 2 courses are designed for foreign students, already working in Italy, who desire to improve their knowledge in the Italian language in the specific area of their job.

Italian Language for Restaurant Clerk (45 hours for 3 credits)

Italian Language for Sales Clerk (45 hours for 3 credits)

The courses will have class 3 times a week, see Academic Schedule, each class have a duration of 3 hours
